A Korean name is a one-syllable family name followed by a (usually) two-syllable given name — Kim Min-jun, Park Ji-woo. A handful of surnames are extremely common: Kim, Lee, and Park account for nearly half the country. Given names are chosen for the meaning of their syllables (often from Hanja), so Min can mean "clever," Seo "auspicious," Ha "summer / great."
Use the Gender filter to switch between male and female given names, then hit Generate. Each result pairs a common Korean surname with an authentic given name. Click a result for details, save your favorites, and copy the perfect name for a character, story, K-pop persona, or online handle.
